My toddler loves to take his back pack anywhere he goes (almost), not only for school. He opens it up with easy, puts his favorite toys on it and tells me he's ready to go. He can easily put it on his back (the wheel system is well cushioned so his back doesn't even feel it's there). He usually takes it by the handle which is very easy for him to pull up & push down.

He loved it at first sight. Actually, he's more of a Thomas fan, but this one did the trick anyway. Wheels work perfectly. We didn't have the problem the other reviewer had when its comes to durability. It is still holding up pretty much as if brand new after months of daily use.

The only thing I noticed is that the straps are too long, so we cut them so that they don't get dirty.

I purchased this backpack for my 2-yr-old about 3 weeks ago. The stitching is already coming apart at the top. Very disappointing.

My grandson will enjoy this toy. He likes cars and and his sister's rolling backpack. It is a little smaller than I expected, but is about his size.
